Ideas for My Movie Poster

Having now filmed my Teaser Trailer i am now going to create my movie poster. To help me with this i chose three movie posters to analyse and can now use some of the things I've learnt while looking at these. Some ideas which i already have are :

• Shot of Gate - an eye peering through an opening, hence the title The Vigil meaning being watched
• An arm or hand in a fixed claw position as if the character or anonymous person are clinging onto the trunk of the tree trying to break free from something. Also the use of blood , dripping down the hand (common horror code & convention)
• Shadowed figure laying on the ground in a woodland or undergrowth, then a bloody arm just visible.
• Shadow of Silhouette of a person standing in the trees, and also the contrast in colours. Perhaps the dark silhouette contrasting with the Brown of the trees and the Green leaves.
