Our Decision

Once we both started developing our magazines, it became clear that although both editions were aimed at our target-aged audience, mine was aimed at boys and Lauren's was aimed at girls. It became obvious it is impossible to create a magazine with just a front cover, double page spread and contents, that appeals to teenagers of both genders. Therefore we made the decision to create two issues aimed at our respective target markets; as this is a new magazine we are producing we would then see which proved to sell more successfully and discontinue the other one.
