Deciding on a Magazine Price

Now i have all the main codes and conventions in my work i thought it would be a good time to think up a retail price. In order to get a fair price i decided to survey 15 of my target audience to see what they would be willing to pay. I also made up some questions to see how often they would purchase the product to see whether i should make it a weekly or monthly magazine as some real media products varie, but overall it tends to be every month but we shall see from my results which they prefer...

1) Roughly how much would you pay for a Movie Magazine?

£0.50 - £1.50 - 4
£1.50 - £2.50 - 9
£2.50-£3.00 - 2 said depending on the quality

2) If you were to purchase a Movie Magazine how often would you buy one ?

Weekly - 2
Fortnightly - 4
Monthly - 6
Sometimes - 3

From this short survey i can now conclude that 9/15 people said that they would pay between £1.50 and £2.50 for their Movie Magazine. And 6/15 said they would buy one monthly rather than fortnighly or weekly. This has helped me a great deal as i now have a rough idea of peoples preferences and i can now apply these to my own work. I have decided my magazine will be released monthly and will cost £2.00.
